1. About Growl

Growl is an AI-powered marketing tool for small business owners. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. It applies to growl-ai.com (Growl) and agri.growl-ai.com (Vege Sim), both operated by the same provider.

2. Information We Collect

• Business information you provide (industry, description, target customers)
• Usage data (actions completed, app interactions)
• Information from cookies and tracking technologies (analytics, ad identifiers)
• Email address for marketing communications (when explicitly opted-in)
• Meta account data when connected: access tokens, ad account IDs — used solely to create ads on your behalf

3. Meta Platform Data & Advertising

When you connect your Meta account, Growl requests permissions solely to create ad campaigns in your account. Additionally, with your consent, we use Meta Pixel and similar technologies on our website to deliver relevant targeted advertising (e.g., Custom Audiences).

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies for essential site functions, traffic analysis (e.g., Google Analytics), and marketing. Non-essential cookies and tracking scripts are only loaded if you explicitly opt-in via our cookie consent banner.

5. Data Sharing & Communications

We do not sell your data. We share data only with essential service providers (hosting, AI APIs) or when legally required. We only send marketing emails to users who have explicitly opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the emails.

6. Attack Detection and Abuse Reporting

Only for requests we identify as attacks probing for nonexistent admin pages or configuration files (e.g., /.env, /wp-admin), we store the source IP address, the time, the kind of path probed, and the browser identification string (the first 100 characters of the User-Agent) for 30 days, after which they are deleted. Malicious activity may be reported, after review by the operator, to AbuseIPDB, an external service that collects abusive IP addresses. We do not store this information for normal page visits.
